And it is not written that he flew as a kind of metaphor for life; his mother, an accomplished paraglider pilot, carried him in her womb as she soared through the air. From the cradle, Tomás, closer to the stars than to the earth, took flight. It would not be difficult, with that heritage, to anticipate what his great passion would be.
He is 17 years old and is in the tenth grade of school like any other person on earth. However, on weekends, like few others, he carries on his shoulders the wing with which he launches himself into the wind and adds kilometers of atmosphere and majestic landscapes. A year ago, after accumulating the necessary experience, he began his career as a pilot. He no longer flies on the wings of the one who saw him born, Tomás writes his own flight by hand and is already competing to make a place for himself in the history of Colombian paragliding.
His passion and discipline are so great that he has already been tested by the best in long-distance competitions. These athletes can spend up to 6 hours avoiding the dangers of heights and receiving the adrenaline that only those who dare to go further than imaginable feel.
